Over time, like all wood species, teak deck boards will gray beautifully over time and take on a silvery hue. This patina will develop more or less quickly depending on your deck's exposure to the elements.

This change in color does not in any way affect the strength and durability of your deck boards.

If you want to keep the color of your Indonesian Teak deck:

1 to 2 times a year repeat the following process:

1 - Apply a degreaser/degreaser to restore the deck boards to their original appearance.

2 - Then apply an exotic wood saturator to protect the wood in depth.
